The problem
Patients feel better after visit 5 of a 12-visit care plan and quietly stop booking. If 8 patients a month drop off and 6 of them would have come back for 4 more visits at an assumed $65£49€58A$94C$92 a visit, that's $1,560£1,173€1,396A$2,252C$2,205 a month of care that doesn't happen.
What the AI does
GrowthHub Pro, an add-on for 360 Pro or Pro+, includes automated recalls, automated review requests, booking confirmations, broadcast messaging and a waitlist, with 5,000 texts a month. The doctor decides who should be recalled and when, the recall text invites the patient to book, and the desk follows up anyone who replies with questions. Care messages to existing patients are different from promotions: broadcast and marketing texts need prior express written consent under the TCPA, with STOP honored.
A worked example
A one-doctor clinic in Sacramento on 360 Pro loses about 8 patients a month partway through care plans and adds GrowthHub Pro.
Before
8 care plan dropouts a month and no follow-up
After
Automated recall texts; 3 to 6 patients a month rebook an average of 4 visits
What it's worth
About $390£293€349A$563C$551 a month in profit, against $249£187€223A$359C$352 for GrowthHub Pro. Three to 6 returning patients a month at 4 visits and an assumed $65£49€58A$94C$92 a visit is $780£586€698A$1,126C$1,103 to $1,560£1,173€1,396A$2,252C$2,205; at an assumed 50% margin, that's $390£293€349A$563C$551 to $780£586€698A$1,126C$1,103. The same add-on covers automated review requests and a waitlist, so the cost is shared if you use them.
How to set it up
- Agree, as doctors, which patients get a recall: an unfinished care plan with a clinical reason to continue, not everyone who stopped coming.
- Write recall wording that invites rather than pushes: the patient's first name, that their care plan has visits left, and a way to book.
- Turn on automated recalls in GrowthHub Pro and set the timing after a missed or unbooked visit.
- Keep care texts and marketing apart: send broadcasts and offers only to patients who gave written consent to marketing texts, and honor STOP.
- Review the recall list monthly and remove patients who were discharged, referred out or asked not to be contacted.
What goes wrong
- Recalling patients who don't need more care looks like selling visits. Keep recalls to the doctor's recommendation.
- Recalls, confirmations and broadcasts share the 5,000 texts; beyond that, texts cost 2¢ each.
- GrowthHub needs 360 Pro or Pro+. On the $149£112€133A$215C$211 360 plan, add $100£75€89A$144C$141 for the Pro upgrade.
- A patient who stopped because of pain or a bad reaction needs a call from the doctor, not an automated text.
