Who runs this site
GetInto AI is run from Ireland. For anything about your data, email christopher.walshe1994@gmail.com.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful: the pages you view, roughly where you are (country or city), your device and browser, and the site that sent you. It doesn't collect your name, email or anything you type into the search box.
In the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. Until then, and if you decline, Google receives only basic, cookieless signals with no identifier. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are on by default. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Google Analytics keeps this data for 2 months. Google processes it under its data processing terms, which this site has accepted, and doesn't use it for advertising: the site sets no advertising cookies.
Choices stored on your device
Your currency and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage, so the site remembers them next time. They stay on your device and aren't sent anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Links to other sites
Idea pages link to the tools they describe, and some are affiliate links. When you follow one, that company's own privacy policy and cookies apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data held about you, or object to how it's used. Email christopher.walshe1994@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with the answer, you can complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie, or to the data protection authority where you live.
