The problem
A mobile fitter drives 25 minutes to a workplace car park and the customer has gone home or bought tires elsewhere. Every wasted trip loses about an hour and the fuel. 4 no-shows a month on $266£200€238A$384C$376 jobs is $1,064£800€952A$1,536C$1,504 of work missed, and quoting each call-out price by phone takes another 3 hours a month.
What the AI does
Autowork eCommerce's advanced mobile fitting module sets mobile fitting prices by radius, post code area and number of tires, so customers see the full price for their address. Its payment integration module takes payment online through PayPal, Stripe, Klarna or PaymentAssist when the customer books. A customer who has paid is far more likely to be there, and the tires you ordered are already paid for. Each module is $15£11€13A$21C$21 a month on top of the $114£86€102A$165C$162 web shop.
A worked example
A one-van mobile tire fitter covering mid Kent sets prices for 10, 20 and 30-mile bands from their base and makes online payment the norm for every mobile booking.

What it's worth
About $386£290€345A$557C$545 a month: 3 fewer no-shows on $266£200€238A$384C$376 jobs at an assumed 25% margin is $200£150€179A$288C$282 plus 3 hours of wasted trips and 2.5 hours of phone quoting saved at an assumed $33£25€30A$48C$47 an hour, about $182£137€163A$263C$258. Cost is $144£108€129A$207C$203 a month plus VAT for the web shop and both modules; payment providers charge their own fees.
How to set it up
- Set up the web shop and add the advanced mobile fitting and payment integration modules.
- Set your call-out prices by distance or post code area, and by number of tires.
- Connect a payment provider and make online payment the norm for mobile bookings.
- Write a clear policy for cancellations and for jobs you can't complete, such as a missing locking wheel nut key.
- Make a test booking from an address at the edge of your area and check the price and confirmations.
What goes wrong
- Customers who've paid expect you on time. Offer realistic slots, especially in bad weather and rush hour.
- Refund promptly when you can't fit a tire for a reason that isn't the customer's fault, and say so in your terms.
- Payment providers' fees aren't on Autowork's pricing page; check them before choosing one.
- A missing locking wheel nut key stops many driveway jobs. Ask about it when the customer books.
