The problem
Selling the same stock on Amazon and your own website means updating numbers by hand, and an oversell means a canceled Amazon order. If a seller spends 15 minutes each working day updating stock (22 x 15 = 330 minutes, 5.5 hours a month) and still oversells 3 times a month, that's time lost and cancellations that count against the account.
What the AI does
Veeqo's UK pricing page lists the Inventory plan, from $23£17€20A$33C$32 a month including VAT and priced by monthly order volume, with automated inventory sync across channels, demand forecasting and digital picking. The free Shipping plan imports orders from Amazon, Shopify, eBay and others but doesn't sync stock. Connect Amazon and your Shopify shop, set Veeqo as the place stock is counted, and check the levels on both channels after the first sync. The page doesn't list the order bands, so check your price on Veeqo's order volume selector.
A worked example
A seller in Leicester ships about 150 orders a month from home across Amazon and their own Shopify shop, and moves from the free Shipping plan to Inventory.
Before
15 minutes a working day updating stock by hand: 22 x 15 = 330 minutes, 5.5 hours a month, and about 3 oversells
After
About 10 minutes a week checking that stock matches: 10 x 4.3 = 43 minutes, 0.7 hours a month
What it's worth
About 4.8 hours a month saved (287 minutes), worth around $160£120€143A$230C$226 if your time is worth $33£25€30A$48C$47 an hour. Veeqo Inventory is from $23£17€20A$33C$32 a month including VAT, priced by order volume, so check the selector for yours. Fewer canceled orders aren't counted.
How to set it up
- Do a full stock count first so Veeqo starts from the right numbers.
- Start the Inventory plan trial and connect Amazon and Shopify.
- Check a dozen products on both channels after the first sync, including variants.
- Book returns and damaged stock into Veeqo, not just the channel they came from.
- Each week, compare Veeqo's levels with a spot count of 10 products.
What goes wrong
- A sync can fail silently if a channel disconnects; you hear about it when an oversell happens. Check both channels weekly.
- FBA stock sits in Amazon's warehouses; keep clear in Veeqo which stock is yours to sell from home.
- The page doesn't show the order bands, so the $23£17€20A$33C$32 starting price may not be your price at higher volumes.
- Stock counts are only as good as your booking-in of deliveries and returns.
