The problem
Many agencies pay an outside service for each floor plan and wait for it before the listing goes live. At 10 instructions a month and an assumed $60£45€54A$86C$85 a plan (check your own supplier's price), that is $599£450€536A$864C$846 a month.
What the AI does
PlanUp is a floor plan app for UK estate agents. Its site says you can draw, edit and share 2D and 3D plans on an iPad or iPhone on site, with no technical skills needed, and calculate square footage. Plans export as JPEG, PDF and other formats, and link with CRMs including Vebra Alto, AgentPro, Expert Agent and Jupix. A negotiator measures each room with a laser measure and draws the plan at the appointment. Someone else checks the plan and floor area before they appear in particulars.
A worked example
An independent agency in Worcester takes about 10 instructions a month and pays an outside floor plan service, assumed at $60£45€54A$86C$85 a plan. Two negotiators learn PlanUp and draw plans at the photography appointment, about 40 minutes extra each.

How to set it up
- Start PlanUp's free trial and draw plans of 2 properties you already have professional plans for, to compare accuracy.
- Agree a standard style and disclaimer for every plan.
- Give negotiators a laser measure and a routine for measuring rooms at the appointment.
- Have a second person check each plan's layout and floor area before it goes into particulars.
- Pick the monthly bundle that matches your instructions; 3D plans cost no extra.
What goes wrong
- A wrong floor area in particulars is misleading information for buyers under consumer protection law. Check every figure.
- Drawing time is real: if a plan takes a negotiator an hour, the saving shrinks fast.
- The page doesn't name Rightmove or Zoopla exports or Apex27 among its integrations; check how plans reach your portals and CRM.
- Bundles are per office. A second branch needs its own.
