The problem
New cleaning inquiries start with the same questions: how much for a 3-bed, 2-bath, and when can you come. If the owner spends 15 minutes on each of 60 quote calls and texts a month, that's 15 hours, about $450£338€403A$650C$636 at an assumed $30£23€27A$43C$42 an hour, and the inquiry that arrives at 9 p.m. goes to whoever answers first.
What the AI does
Launch27 is booking software for maid services. Its online booking form prices a clean by bedrooms and bathrooms, by the hour or by square footage, so a customer gets an estimate online and books a time. It stores the customer's card on file, sets up recurring appointments and, on the Base plan, sends email reminders (text reminders need Pro). The owner checks new bookings each morning instead of answering every quote request.
A worked example
An illustrative example built from typical figures, not a named business.
A house cleaning company in Austin, Texas, with the owner and 6 cleaners gets about 60 new quote requests a month. A standard clean is $140£105€125A$202C$198 for 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, plus $25£19€22A$36C$35 for each extra bedroom or bathroom, so a biweekly clean of a 3-bed, 2-bath home is $190£143€170A$274C$269. They put Launch27's Base booking form on their website, at $765£575€684A$1,104C$1,081 a year.
Before
About 60 quote calls and texts a month at 15 minutes each, about 15 hours
After
About 40 customers a month price and book online; 20 still call, about 5 hours
What it's worth
About $300£226€268A$433C$424 a month of the owner's time saved, against about $64£48€57A$92C$90 a month for Launch27 Base billed annually ($765£575€684A$1,104C$1,081 a year). That is 10 fewer hours a month on quote calls at an assumed $30£23€27A$43C$42 an hour. Bookings that come in after hours are a bonus not counted here.
How to set it up
- Write your price list before setting up the form: a base price by bedrooms and bathrooms, extras such as inside the oven or fridge, and any discount for weekly or biweekly cleans.
- Set up the booking form with those prices and the zip codes you cover, and turn on card storage so every booking has a card on file.
- Add a line that the price assumes a normally kept home and may change after the first clean, so a heavily soiled home isn't an argument.
- Put the form on your website's main pages and use it as the booking link on your Google Business Profile.
- Check each new booking every morning for size and address before confirming it with a cleaner.
What goes wrong
- Base shows Launch27 branding on the form and sends reminders by email only. An unbranded form and text reminders need Pro at $150£113€134A$217C$212 a month.
- Card payments go through a payment processor, and the pricing page doesn't show those fees. Check them before you set prices.
- Instant prices for move-out and first deep cleans are often too low. Keep those as quote requests and sell only standard cleans at an instant price.
- Sales tax on cleaning services differs by state. Ask your accountant whether it applies to you before setting the form's tax.
